BROTHERS OSBORNE - Break Mine - EMI Nashville

Reigning ACM Duo Of The Year Brothers Osborne is back with a brand-new tune off their recently-released four-song EP.  “Break Mine” is available now digitally and on all streaming platforms via EMI Nashville.

“’Break Mine’ was a song we wrote with Shane McAnally and Pete Good, and we initially didn’t finish the song,” TJ Osborne said.  “So, a couple months went by and we got in the room and finished the song up, and we kind of just felt like immediately there that it was something really special.”

This tune represents everything we have come to love about the Deale, Maryland pair over the years.  Their ability to put forth a catchy, hooky, fun tune with a meaningful message has been one of their most complimented trademarks since they exploded onto the scene with their major label debut record, ‘Pawn Shop,’ in 2016.

Of course, in their own signature lyrical discourse, the brothers deliver the track’s message in their characteristically witty nature with quick, snappy lyrics that imbed themselves in our ears and minds upon the first listen.

“If you’re looking for a place to fall

For one night I’ve always got a place in mind

If you’re looking for a place to land

Not a one night stand

Baby that’s just fine

But if you’re looking for a heart to break

Then get here in a straight line

And break mine”

The virtuous combination of traditional twang and modern rhythm is what has made this award-winning tandem a favorite mainstay amongst both customary and contemporary country music fans, and that trend continues with the release of “Break Mine”.

T.J. and John have established themselves as one of the most talented and accomplished duos in modern country music.  They have received six Academy of Country Music awards, five Country Music Association awards, as well as one Grammy Award for Best Country Duo / Group Performance in 2022.

And of course, as impressive as their recorded music is and has been over the years, the guys are truly a must-see live band.  Fortunately, for us, they have a packed schedule this summer, with dates at festivals, special events, and headlining gigs on their “Might As Well Be Us Tour” stretching across the country.
