SHAYLEN - Let Me Let You - Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment

Chattanooga-born and Dallas-raised singer-songwriter Shaylen formally introduced herself to the country music world two years ago with the release of her debut single, “What If I Don’t”.  Since that time, the powerhouse vocalist has released six highly-acclaimed singles, collectively garnering her as a fast-rising star on the mainstream scene.  This week, Shaylen added to that ever-growing musical catalogue with the release of a brand-new track.  “Let Me Let You” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Two Hats Music Group.

Prioritizing empowerment, confidence, and self-love, Shaylen’s latest tune is an anthem for those wanting to move on after a breakup, giving a voice to the emotional recovery that follows the grief after the end of a relationship.  Behind an infectiously catchy rhythm and steady beat, the Nashville-based vocal powerhouse sends chills down the listener’s spine with her incredible range, control, and emotional intensity.

“You let me think ‘goodbye’ meant

You don’t want me anymore

You let me think we turned the page

Then your headlights hit my door

When it’s 2 a.m. missing me again

Why you gotta let me know?

Every time I’m trying to forget you

You won’t let me let you go”

The title, subject matter, and direction of the song has been something in the back of her mind for quite some time.  And along with co-writers Lindsey Rimes and Brett Tyler, Shaylen was able to bring her conception to life and has seemingly hit a homerun with the end result.

“’Let Me Let You’ has been a title I’ve been holding onto for forever.  It’s truly the anthem of finally seeing how a person has continuously kept a toxic cycle going, when you’re trying to move on,” Shaylen said.  “Let’s just say your girl has finally moved on, and man it feels good to go back and write these songs knowing I made it out of that heartbreak phase!  I hope everyone listening feels that same sense of empowerment…don’t forget what you deserve.”

Tallying over 300,000 fans across social media platforms and over 100 million streams to date, Shaylen is demanding the industry’s attention with her intuitive songwriting and undeniably impressive vocal delivery.  “Let Me Let You” follows previous singles “What If I Don’t,” “Roots,” “Do It Right The First Time,” “Closet Thing To Closure,” “Cowboys Never Cry,” and “Been There Before” as a growing list of musical evidence of the sophistication and talent of this star-in-the-making.
