LANCO - Wild Again - Riser House Records

In today’s country music community, we are constantly and consistently being introduced to new artists who are talented and fast-rising stars that represent the future of our genre.  But often under-appreciated are those acts that continue to reinvent themselves and challenge their creativity and artistry with new musical directions and approaches.

Multi-platinum, ACM Award-winning band LANCO is back with brand new music, introducing themselves once again to the country music world with a song that promises to be a favorite of fans new and old.

“Wild Again” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming devices, via Riser House Records.

The acoustic guitar intro sets the tone for a nostalgic feel from the song’s onset, giving way to lead singer Brandon Lancaster’s quick, clever lyrical delivery.  Echoing the good-time feeling of being young in the midst of summer, the tune encourages the listener to relax and unwind and to not be afraid of being carefree and a little bit crazy.

Tell ‘em it’s getting’ started where the black top ends

We’re just as good as we were back then

Gettin’ wild again

Produced by long-time collaborator Jay Joyce, “Wild Again” offers the elements of past LANCO releases, with the country-rock vibe and Lancaster’s signature delivery giving the listener a familiar sound.  Yet, while sticking to their roots and trademark notoriety with this track, they do expand on their sound as they traditionally have with each new collection of music.

Since the onset of the band’s illustriously awarding-winning career thus far, they have showcased their renowned combination of talent and energy, offering their unique infectious genre-bending sound along with their invocative storytelling that has drawn praise from critics, media, and fans for years.

“Wild Again” marks the band’s first release since their 2023 EP, ‘Run, Run Baby,’ which included the lead single “Sound of a Saturday Night,” which followed “Low Class Lovers” from 2022.

LANCO first exploded onto the scene in 2017 with their No. 1 hit single, “Greatest Love Story” off their chart-topping debut album, ‘Hallelujah Nights’.  The five-piece band has dates scheduled across the country, from Ohio to California, from now through August with more expected to be announced soon.
