In addition to the countless accolades Luke Bryan has accumulated over the years, he will always be associated with the movement known as “bro-country”.  Love it or hate it, the sub-genre has been a driving force in country music since the mid-2000’s, and Bryan was one of the first to provide fans with an introduction.  Over the years, Luke has proven to be as well-rounded, highly-talented artist and one of the most successful of the past couple decades.  And, as the accomplishments and awards have continued to pile up, he has never abandoned who he is as a person and what he sings about….being a country boy and living a country life.

His latest single serves an ode to the way of life he lived growing up, and despite all of his success that has taken him all over the world, it still represents the life he lives today.  “Mind Of A Country Boy” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Capitol Records Nashville.

“Every time I get in a room with The Peach Pickers, we have so much fun because we have so much in common,” Luke said.  “This song not only shows what can run through my mind but also what most us country boys think about on any given day.  The girl we love, outdoors, life and not getting above our raising.”

Written by Bryan along with Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson, and Rhett Atkins (The Peach Pickers), the song features that infectious beat and quick, clever sing-along lyrics that millions of fans have loved about Luke’s music for years.  Musically, it’s a mid-tempo toe-tapper, while lyrically, it’s a down-to-earth hometown boy poem about growing up in the country.

Inspiring the name of his nationwide tour that kicked off last week, “Mind Of A Country Boy” serves as the first taste of new music that is expected from Luke later this year.  The five-time entertainer of the year will be on the road for the summer and into the fall with multiple lineups featuring the likes of Tenille Arts, Chayce Beckham, Dillon Carmichael, Alana Springsteen, and Zach Top, among many others.
