TIGIRLILY GOLD - End Up Us- Monument Records

Reigning ACM New Duo of the Year Tigirlily Gold is set to release their debut album, ‘Blonde’, on July 26th.  Now, a month away from that monumental moment, the North Dakota sister duo is offering another preview of what we can expect from the forthcoming record.  “End Up Us” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Monument Records.

Written by Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh along with Todd Clark and Jason Cole Saenz, this is a testament to everlasting love and commitment to another person, overcoming odds set forth by others living one’s best life with someone you were always meant to be with from the beginning.  It’s a notion that the ladies of Tigirlily Gold believe, leaning on faith that love will find a way in the end.

“’End Up Us’ is the first love song released off our ‘Blonde’ album.  We believe real love, if meant to be, will always find its way,” Krista and Kendra said.  “Every love has its own journey, and we can’t wait to see people share their love stories with this song!”

Lyrically and musically, this song hits in all the right spots, showcasing the touching sentiments of a forever-kind-of-love along with the exquisitely touching vocal sonnets of two very gifted women.  The pleasant, modern-country melody beautifully glides behind the characteristically southern belle harmonious delivery of their two infectiously-blended vocals to make us all tap and sing along.

“Could have started in a divebar, party in a backyard

Looking like a stranger, a friend of a friend

7AM on an airplane, Friday night home game

Wasn’t gonna matter where or when

Yeah, the clouds are gonna part

Could found you in the dark

Yeah, the stars were always gonna line up

When it’s written in the heart it don’t matter how it stars

We were always gonna end up us”

Serving as the final release off ‘Blonde’, “End Up Us” continues the trend of showcasing the well-rounded talent this duo possesses.  From up-beat honky-tonk dance numbers to slower, subdued ballads and everything in between, Tigirlily Gold is providing they can do it all.  Come July 26, the wide country music audience, if not already aware, is going to have another favorite duo.

‘Blonde’, also featuring “I Tried A Ring On” as well as the Top 40 hit “Shoot Tequila”, follows the duo’s 2021 self-titled debut EP and the 2023 EP ‘Blonde’.  The ladies have a busy summer ahead in support of the album release, with dates scheduled across the country into October.
