CARTER FAITH - Alright - UMG Nashville

One of the fresh faces on the mainstream circuit expected to be a part of a promising future in country music, Carter Faith has just released a new tune to the masses.  “Alright” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via UMG Nashville.

Written by Faith along with Tofer Brown and Ashley Monroe, the new track tells the tale of falling in love, blindly and hopelessly, aware of the risks but throwing caution to the wind while deeply connecting to another.  It’s the type of love we all long for, and one that ignites feelings of passion, anticipation, and euphoria.

“’Alright’ is about falling head over heels in love and not looking back even though it is terrifying at the same time,” Carter said.  “We really wanted to capture that massive emotion on the record.  I have been so excited about this song being out in the world because it is one of my favorites to play live with my band.  It just has an electrifying energy.”

This is an emphatic love poem put to music, as the intuitively vivid lyrical descriptions are eloquently beautiful and delivered with the poise, sophistication, and prominence of a seasoned veteran.

“Baby, you’re my dopamine

Only chemical I need to fly

You’re the gold in all the fields

Only thing that makes me feel this high

I’m out of my mind

One shot of ecstasy

Yeah, when you’re next to me

I’m alright”

Carter’s vocals are flawless as she effortlessly invokes the emotion behind the song’s subject matter and into the heart and mind of the listener through her ardent delivery.  The critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter continues to live up to the hype she has garnered in such a short time in the industry’s spotlight, and “Alright” continues to showcase her undeniable talent and remarkable musical maturity.

Since singing to UMG Nashville, the talented songstress has garnered over 11 million streams with her releases “Late Bloomer”, “Strong Stuff”, “Wild”, “Already Crazy”, “Greener Pasture”, “Cowboys & Dreamers”, as well as her EP ‘Man’.

To date, she has tallied over 75 million global streams while sharing the stage with the likes of Little Big Town, Keith Urban, and Willie Nelson, as well as playing her 12th show at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year.

Featured on CMT’s 2023 Next Women of Country and LISTEN UP 2024 campaigns in addition to being the first country artist featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds multi-genre program, Carter is gearing up to support Midland on their fall tour, with more live dates to be confirmed soon.
