CARTER FAITH - The Aftermath- Capitol Records Nashville

North Carolina native and breakout Nashville singer-songwriter Carter Faith enjoyed a life-changing year in 2023, and has taken her career to the next level here in 2024. And now with the release of a brand- new EP and the accompanying title track, Faith continues to impress fans, critics and media alike.

“The Aftermath” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Capitol Records Nashville.

Written by Faith along with Lauren Hungate and Tofer Brown, the new EP’s title track is sentimental fan’s dream and an aspiring songwriter’s muse, diligently and unapologetically-honestly telling the tale of the end of something old and moving on to something new with the accompanying emotional and mental effects on the heart and mind.

This is an emphatic poetic account of love’s heartbreak put to music, as the intuitively-vivid lyrical descriptions are eloquently beautiful and delivered with the poise, sophistication, and prominence of a seasoned veteran in the industry.

“Wish I’d known how this would shake out

You were a mustang that I couldn’t break down

The TV don’t show the mess love can make

One domino onto the next until the levee breaks

Just like that, and you fall so fast

But you can’t go back before the aftermath”

Carter’s vocals are flawless as she effortlessly invokes the emotion behind the song’s subject matter and into the heart and mind of the listener through her ardent delivery.  The critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter continues to live up to the hype she has garnered in such a short time in the industry’s spotlight, and “The Aftermath” is the latest example of her undeniable talent and remarkable musical maturity.

In addition to the title track, ‘The Aftermath’ EP also features four previously released singles, including “Alright”, “Blue Bird” featuring Alison Krauss, “Strong Stuff”, and “Late Bloomer”.  Collectively, this is a release that is representative of who Carter is as a singer and songwriter at this point in time.

“I am so excited to have these songs out into the world and in the hands of anyone who resonates with them,” Carter said.  “Each song holds a place in my heart and lends itself to a different feeling reflective of when I put pen to paper, and I hope they do the same for anyone who listens”.

To date, Faith has accumulated over 117 million global streams on tracks that include “Wild”, “Greener Pasture” and “Already Crazy.”  Sharing the stage with the likes of Little Big Town, Keith Urban, and Willie Nelson, the talented songstress has played over a dozen times at the Grand Ole Opry and will continue to showcase new music on the road along with Luke Grimes, Midland, and others through the end of the year.
