THE CASTELLOWS - Ways To Go - Warner Music Nashville

Sister-trio and fast-rising country sensation The Castellows continue to make headlines with their trademark sound and undeniable talent with their latest release.  “Ways To Go” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Warner Music Nashville.

Written by members Ellie, Lily, and Powell Balkcom, along with Nicolle Galyon and Will Bundy, the latest release is one that has flown under the radar a bit in terms of public notoriety, unless you have seen the Georgia trio in concert.

“If anyone has heard us play a show this year, this song has likely been our opener”, the trio shared on social media.  “We hope ya’ll love this song as much as we do!”

Immediately catching the listener’s ear with a steady, rhythmically-catchy beat and modern vibe, the track ebbs and flows freely and gracefully, providing the perfect backdrop for the ladies’ deliciously-beautiful vocal harmonies that steal the spotlight throughout the mid-tempo, toe-tapping melody.

Lyrically, this song is free, spontaneous, and uplifting, providing an emotional escape from the droves of heartache that often repeatedly permeate the airwaves.  This is a musical breath of fresh air, cultivated by the infectiously-elegant vocal abilities of three undeniably-talented musicians.

“She’s on to something but she ain’t there yet

She’s every song on the radio

Where she runs is anybody’s guess

God bless that girl

She’s got a lot of ways to go”

This track is the latest in a assemblage of tunes, continuing the trend of showcasing the incredibly diverse and uniquely talented musical repertoire they possess individually as well as a collective group.

Their neo-traditional approach to songwriting is once again prominent with this new release, infectiously showcasing threads of the banjo, harmonica, and acoustic guitar that blend beautifully behind their effortlessly-flawless harmonies as they vocally glide through the verses and chorus as they celebrate youth and the many paths one can take to follow one’s dreams.

The release of “Ways To Go” follows “Sober Sundays, their collaboration with Wyatt Flores, as well as the patriotic “Miss America” and “I Know It’ll Never End”, all released this year.

Seemingly appearing out of nowhere in 2023, The Castellows have taken repeated steps into the spotlight of the future generation of hitmakers, encompassing the look, sound and talent of country music stars.

Following a career-altering headlining tour this past spring that took them across the country via a 21-city trek, the sisters are showcasing their performing talents on the road this fall as special guest on the Take Me Home Tour starring Little Big Town and Sugarland.
