In a brutally-competitive industry, Tim McGraw has been a mainstay as one of the most notable stars in music history over the past three decades.  He has tallied nearly 70 Top 10 hits while holding the Mediabase record for most weeks at No. 1 with all titles (73 weeks) and trails only George Strait for most No. 1 albums in the United States.

Written by Scooter Carusoe and Tom Douglas, the latest tune from the three-time GRAMMY winner features the signature storytelling and catchy mid-tempo melody that we have come to know, love, and expect from McGraw over the years. 

As has been the case (and the expectation at this point) for his music over the years, this song is a perfect blend of McGraw’s classic country sound with touches of modern elements, collectively lending itself to fans of all styles and generations.

Lyrically, this is expertly crafted, incorporating down-to-earth imagery as well as metaphoric elucidations to bring the story to life right in front of the listener.  It’s an honest and self-diagnosing poem about all of us and the world we are living in, sung through the classic trademark vocals of one of the most successful to ever do it.

Released along with an accompanying lyric video, “People Like Us” follows Tim’s current single, “One Bad Habit”, which recently reached Top 10 in Mediabase / Country Aircheck, marking his 55^th Top 10 as a lead artist, with a total of 62 including collaborations.

To date, McGraw has sold over 103 million albums worldwide, tallied 47 No. 1 radio singles, 19 No. 1 records and dozens of industry awards, honors, and accolades.  His most recent EP, 2023’s ‘Poet’s Resume’, followed the massively success ‘Standing Room Only’ along with the nationwide sold-out tour to accompany, which wrapped earlier this year.
