Chris Lane made his debut to the mainstream country music world ten years ago, slating gold and platinum singles with catchy, sing-along lyrics and modern, pop-infused vibes.  In recent years, though, we have come realize and appreciate his talent as a songwriter as he continues to embrace his softer side while speaking to the sentimental side in all of us.  His latest single is an honest, sincere look into the crooner’s heart and one that will continue to make his star shine brighter in the eyes of the country music masses.

“If I Die Before You” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Red Street Records.

Written by James McNair, Seth Mosley, and Emily Weisband, this tune genuinely and beautifully shines a spotlight on Lane as a devoted husband and father, and articulates the feelings and emotions we all feel towards our families.  Not surprisingly, the tune struck a personal chord for Lane, who has a wife and two sons.

“’If I Die Before You’ is exactly where I’m at in my life right now and is easily one of my favorite songs I’ve ever recorded,” Lane said.  “It’s one of those special songs that you feel lucky to be the artist that gets to record it.”

Melodically eloquent and lyrically and poetically honest, the tune flows peacefully and expressively from start to finish.  Relatable to many and touching to all, “If I Die Before You” represents a new chapter of musical ability for Lane, one that is sure to escalate his potential on the mainstream tract to an entirely new level.

The release of “If I Die Before You” comes as his current single, “Find Another Bar”, nears the Top 20 at country radio.  With three chart-topping singles, two RIAA-certified multi-platinum and three platinum-certified tracks to date, Lane is set to take his career to another level with this latest release. 

Slating his first No.1 in 2015 with “Fix”, Lane’s hits catalogue also includes “I Don’t Know About You”, “Take Back Home Girl” featuring Tori Kelly, and “Big, Big Plans”.

Chris will also be hitting the road in early 2025 as part of one of the most highly-anticipated tours in recent memory with Rascal Flatts on their recently announced Life Is A Highway Tour.
