WILLIAM MICHAEL MORGAN FT. HEARTWRECKERS- Together We Stand - Independent Release

As we have seen over the years, some of the most meaningful and impactful music is written in the face of adversity, hardship, and/or heartbreak.  William Michael Morgan and country duo the Heartwreckers have collaborated on a tune that pays homage to how first responders have been impacted by the current state of our country.  “Together We Stand” is now available digitally and on all streaming platforms.

Written by Morgan along with Stephen Stroud, the tune explores the essence of setting our differences and opinions aside to collaborate for the common good to better the world around us.

“When we wrote this song almost four years ago now, the world was in a crazy place,” Morgan said.  “Today, we felt as if people have drifted even farther apart.  We talked about how we, as a country, have seemed to let our differences get the better of us.  This song will hopefully encourage everyone to stand together to help, be kind and serve anywhere we are able to, and do so in love and with respect to others, no matter which side of the political spectrum we’re on.  Together we stand, or together we will surely fall.”

A self-described old soul, Morgan always seems to find a way to remain relevant in these evolutionary times within the confines of country music.  That trend continues with “Together We Stand”, as the Heartwreckers’ influence takes this tune to an entirely new level, incorporating elements of modern, subdued rock nibbles along with Morgan’s trademark traditional approach.

“Where’s all the back bone somebody tell me

Somebody stand up if you can hear me

Where’s all cowboys all the cowgirls of the world

Where’s all the work hard, the play hard

Yeah, the good ol’ boys with their big hearts

Buddy, you can stand by and just say nothing at all

But together, we stand

Or together we’ll fall”

Having signed his major label deal at just 19 years old, William has already achieved what many aspiring artists never do in a lifetime.  The No. 1, Gold-certified “I Met A Girl” took his career to new heights, with his 2016 album debut, ‘Vinyl,’ reaching the Top 5 at Billboard.  A Grand Ole Opry-performing veteran and a highly-respected singer and songwriter throughout the industry, the Mississippi native has poised himself to write a new chapter in his music journey in 2024.  “Together We Stand” follows “Not Letting Go”, which was Morgan’s first release of the year.

Representing a no-filter approach to country music, The Heartwreckers exploded onto the scene with their debut Ep, ‘Shut Up And Drink’.  The duo of members Brock Butler and Ryan Garrett has already found their niche in an incredibly competitive industry, delivering a fearless collection of rocking country, including standout tracks “Shut Up” and “Don’t Trust That Truck”.  They made their formal introduction to thousands of mainstream country fans this year while appearing on Tim McGraw’s sold-out Standing Room Only tour.
