In what is a definition of who she is in both appearance and spirit, “Cupid’s A Cowgirl” embraces a girly exterior but carries a take-no guff attitude and an aura of unbridled outlaw fringes.

Wrapping a danceable, modern country backbeat around tweaks of western flare that fluidly accompany the lyrical turns, the song co-written by Alexandra, Thrasher Guft, and Cheyanna Rose Arnspiger takes the listener on a journey of western cowgirl imagery and gritty Annie Oakley flashes of heart fluttered crushing. 

Describing our main character’s attributes as she’s on the prowl for her stud, the opening verse paints her as the Stetson wearing type with a smattering of outlaw energy running through her veins, popping a mean draw once she locks her eyes on her target…him!

Invoking a boot heel clicked sawdust turn on a honky-tonk dancefloor, she pushes the chorus into a girl-powered anthem territory with a rousing fist pump that immediately engages a sing-along, gliding a tonality that balances sassy and confident while pulling him into a teasing yearn that keeps him clamoring for more than just the one lucky moment she’s gifted to him.

Utilizing the second verse to further tighten the reigns on her personality, she tauntingly encourages the object of her desire to go ahead and try to run and hide, comparatively designing him as a steer let loose in the rodeo circle that’s unable to escape her cowgirl lasso as she ropes him in.
