TYLER FARR - Coming To A Bar Near You - Droptine Records

It’s been far too long since we’ve heard a brand-new tune from Tyler Farr.  But much to the delight to country music lovers everywhere, the redneck rocker is back with a new release, one that will take the listener into his head and his heart.  “Coming To A Bar Near You” is available now, but digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Droptine Records.

From the opening seconds of this track, it is obvious that this is a Tyler Farr tune to its core.  The elegantly somber vibe pronounced by an edgy guitar and Farr’s powerhouse vocals along with his down-to-earth, invocative storytelling of grit and lyrical landscapes set the emotional scene for the listener from start to finish.

As evident in all of his music, Farr is speaking from his head and his heart on this track, something that has made his previous releases so successful, with this new tune to follow suit.

“Where it’s a small-town dive or a big city honky-tonk, we all have that go-to bar where the stories get told, the music gets loud, and the drinks never stop flowing,” Farr said.  “If you’ve ever closed down a bar with the buddies that always have your back, this one’s for you.”

The redneck, blue-collar approach to life and love is Tyler’s bread and butter, and it is once again on full display with this track.  His ability to lyrically articulate emotions and feelings in just a few words has always been an element of his music that sets him apart from so many others.  His blend of deep country roots and southern rock influences, along with his incredibly powerful and gifted vocal delivery, take center stage here and push this tune over the top.

Round here it seems every turn

Hell that’s all I do

Buddy, Goodbye’s breakin’ my heart

So tonight I’m coming to a bar near you”

Despite spending some time away from mainstream forefront, Farr proves he is still a force in country music with this release.  This is a self-proclaimed follow-up to his No. 1 hit, “A Guy Walks Into A Bar”, a tune which put him on the map for many country music fans. 

Since he first broke onto the scene in 2014 with the release of his debut album, ‘Redneck Crazy’, which landed by No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200, has three No. 1 songs to his credit, including the aforementioned “A Guy Walks Into A Bar” as well as “Redneck Crazy” and “Whiskey In My Water”.

Farr released “Country As Shit” featuring Jelly Roll in 2023 which was followed by his EP, ‘Rednecks Like Me’, a year later in July 2024.  Now, with the release of “Coming To A Bar Near You”, fans are sure to be looking forward to the next chapter in Tyler’s career.
