DYLAN MARLOWE - Picture Perfect - Sony Music Nashville

Though certainly an artist who’s kept his country boy cred in the forefront, Dylan Marlowe has also always had a knack underneath his camouflage persona of tugging the heartstrings of the crazy in love couples by transparently sharing glimpses of his own love story.

Dreaming with his eyes wide open on what the future with his better half could look like, he delivers today another fusion of his real-life diary and budding music career.

“Picture Perfect,” written by Dylan, Dallas Davidson, Seth Ennis, and Joe Fox, is available now on all streaming and digital platforms via Sony Music Nashville.

Originally shared with his fans on his social platforms to great praise, “Picture Perfect” footnotes the start of the next chapter for he and his wife Natalie, turning the pages from what we heard of their beginnings in 2023’s “You Were Right (Nat’s Song)” to the now ideas of whatever tomorrow’s dreams may hold.

“I’m in that season of life where me and my wife Nat have been thinking about kids and farms and the stuff you never think you’re ready for in life until this point,” Marlowe shared. “‘Picture Perfect’ is the perfect song to capture exactly that! I know there’s a million other people going through this same season so I hope y’all can relate to this one!”

In what is essentially a love note to his wife, Marlowe lines the photo album of their future with black and white snapshots of a life lived together in a pine tree outlined farmhouse that’s built on the trust of God’s bigger picture plans of never-failing love and family.

Encouraging her to dream with him as they wind their truck further down the dirt road toward their someday, Marlowe slides blissfully into the trails of his voice as he paints her the picture of the perfect life together.

“Baby, close your eyes and picture perfect

Little handprints and Bible verses

In the concrete holding up your dream house

4020 in the barn, I can see it right now

Baby, picture baby pictures in the hallway

Dogs in the yard

Pencil marks in the doorframe

Wonder what kind of life

I’ve got in mind

Just close your eyes and picture perfect”

Though it’s been songs like “Boys Back Home,” “I’ll Keep The Country,” and “When I Look Back” that have paved the foundations of his path, when Dylan Marlowe turns the pages of his diary he gives the listener a chance to resonate with the moments that make his heartbeat most, inviting us into an opportunity to know what true love is supposed to look like while intriguingly cementing the depth of who he is as a songwriter and artist.
