We ain’t got a whole lot

But we got a lotta little

And a little suits me just fine

We go together like a bow and a fiddle

And we live a little simple life

Emily Ann Roberts snaps out the fun-filled chorus as she opens her brand-new song “Whole Lotta Little” with a hot opening and a clap along melody that immediately has you hooked as she pushes her influences of bluegrass and mountain music into a blend of modern country fury during a pure showcase of her outstanding vocals and upbeat, positive lyrics.

The song, co-written by Emily Ann, Trent WIllmon, and Jeremy Spillman, is the first new music from the season 15 runner up on The Voice in two years, and it delivers the impact straight away as she catches your attention by wrapping her voice into a feel-good blast that praises the simple life and appreciating everything you have in it, while perfectly placing the focus on the giddy feeling of being head over heels in love with your better half.

The fiddle saws, the dobro slides, and your met with a modern kissed song dripping with traditional instrumentation, as Emily’s twang perfectly slides around all the peppy twists while injecting the lyrics with blissful happiness that shines through your speakers as she sings of the little things meaning the most, such as their little house on the edge of town, their funny looking dog, their front porch swing, etc.

Boldly declaring that the simple little life they live is “alright by me” in the chorus, Roberts craftily uses the second verse to look toward the possible future as she sings of how no matter what happens, she hopes they stay the same humble people that they are today:

If we ever hit it big, I hope we’d always be

Same little ol you, Same little ol me

Once you figure out what matters most in life, you find an unmatched happiness like no other that you’ve ever experienced. Roberts has clearly found that place and packs it into a two and half minute, ultra-catchy barn burner that opens her next chapter with a bang!

“Whole Lotta Little” is just pure fun that you can’t get enough of, and it not only makes you want to get your boot heels clickin’ on a Friday night dancehall floor with a fast two steppin’ beat, but it stays stuck in your head for days on end as you keep a smile on your face while listening to it on repeat.
